5 Kid Approved Ways to Use Up Your Apple Orchard Apples

Happy Fall! If you are like our family the Apple Orchard has become a tradition every September before Pumpkin Season begins. The first time we went we were so overzealous with our apples they were coming out of our ears! So since then I have been trying to make use of them in fun ways so we can get the most enjoyment out of our purchase.

By the way how cool is it we get to support our local farms in such a fun way in the fall time. Anyway… lets get to it. Here are 5 kid approved ways to make use of those Apple Orchard Apples. Have fun, tag me, and share along the way!

1.) Make Your Own Apple Fruit Leather, or Fruit Roll Ups! If you purchased enough apples to make your own apple sauce this is super fun to do! And so much easier then you would think, the oven has to be on for quit some time how ever so make sure to do it on a day you know you will be home and get ready to enjoy how delicious smelling your house will be!

2.) Flour less Apple Almond Muffins: This is a tasty but healthy little decadent treat for you and your little ones. All mixed in the food processor so quick and simple and easy to have little helpers whip up with you.

3.) Apple Star Print Making: Is such a fun way to discover the “hidden star” inside the apples when you cut them horizontally. Watch your kiddos get so excited as they create their own pictures, stamps, shapes or whatever you can think of.

4.) Apple Sandwiches: Are a super fun way to use apple slices like bread with ingredients like fruit, granola, and chocolate chips to have such a yummy snack or addition to lunch or breakfast. Get creative and add your favorite toppings!

5.) Apple Bird Feeders: This was such an easy craft to make! My little guys enjoyed giving the birdies a little treat but also sifting through all the seeds and talking about the shapes, colors, and kinds.

I hope you enjoy all the fun of the season Mommas, and I hope this brought you some fresh ideas to make a week of fun with your little ones after your Apple Orchard adventures!
